Pre and Post Congress Holy Land Tours

18 August 2014

Attending the International Congress in London and returning to the roots of The Salvation Army will be an unforgettable experience. To Walk Where Jesus Walked in Israel is a life-changing experience! So, why not ‘bolt-on’ a Holy Land Tour which has been specially organised with Boundless in mind. Maranatha Tours (UK), who have close links with The Salvation Army, have been organising tours to the Middle East for 25 years. These tours will be led by Major’s Andy and Gwen Cox and Major’s Dawn and Graham Mizon, who have experience in leading Christian tours to the Holy Land.

Nothing can prepare you for a sail on Galilee as you look over the same water and hills that accompanied Jesus’ early ministry. Visit Nazareth, Cana, Capernaum and the ancient city of Dan, amongst many other sites in the north. Visit Caesarea on the Mediterranean where Paul set sail on his missionary journey. As you travel south, visit Bethlehem, Bethany, Jericho and, of course, the holy city of Jerusalem. You will also visit the lowest point on the face of the earth as you float on the Dead Sea. These are just a few of the many highlights on this tour.

Your leaders will help in bringing the Bible alive in the land in which it was written. Using a prepared worship book, you will sing 'When Jesus looked o’er Galilee' as you sail on a 1st Century replica boat and 'My life must be Christ’s broken bread' as you pray in Gethsemane. And the tour will climax at the Garden Tomb as we sing, 'Christ the Lord is risen today'.

Spaces are limited so visit the Maranatha Tours website to secure your place.
