Salvation Army Shield The Salvation Army

NEON is the Boundless youth gathering led by ALOVE – the UK and Ireland Territory’s Youth Department. It will be held in Building Six from 2.00pm to 4.30pm on 2, 3 and 4 July 2015, the Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons at Boundless. If you're aged 11–16 years-old we'd love you to be there!

What's happening?

The event will be hosted by the winners of the UK Young Presenters Competition run by ALOVE. They are Lydia Daniels from Sunderland Monkwearmouth Corps, Becky Elliott from Gloucester Corps, Noah Hilditch from Hendon Corps and Anya Williams from Bedford Congress Hall Corps.

Worship will be led by Second Mile and there will be some amazing guest speakers at the event including Captain Marion Platt, Major Janet Robson and Major Danielle Strickland. There will also be some exciting special guests who will be ministering and sharing their gifts. These include the Bill Booth Theatre Company, a Haka group from the New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga Territory, the Vasa Gospel Choir and Shaw Coleman, a worship dancer from the Germany and Lithuania Territory.

The event will feature an array of activities (called Glozones) as well as worship and teaching. There'll be games, competitions, dance, art, drama, worship, teaching, videos, story-sharing, quiet reflection space and a prayer labrinth... the list goes on! Every day there will be a choice of different fun things to do and engage with. Make sure you do not miss the opportunity to spend time with young people your own age from all around the world, worshipping God and celebrating 150 years of The Salvation Army!

The theme of the venue is NEON so if you want to join in and wear or bring something fluorescent or glow in the dark, that'd be great! If you don't have anything don’t worry, we’ll make sure you are definitely still NEON!
