Cineworld at The O2 boasts 11 screens with the largest, the Sky Superscreen, seating over 700 people. Cineworld at The O2 has been the location of many premieres and important events including the Sundance London Film Festival. Three screens will be used during the 2015 International Congress hosting seminars, live concerts and the Boundless Film Festival.

 

Boundless Film Festival

Come and enjoy a festival of the finest film talents The Salvation Army has to offer! We will be showcasing film work from around the Army world, from professional units and from passionate and talented Salvationists alike! From animations and dramas, all the way to documentaries and historical archive footage of Army heritage, this festival has something for anyone and everyone interested in the art and ministry of film making!

Boundless Grace: Salvationist Theology for Today

2 July 2015, 1.30pm, Cineworld Screen 2 (estimated duration – 1 hour 30 minutes)

The seminar will begin with a short presentation on the theme by Lieutenant Colonel Ian Barr, who brings a light touch to his theological teaching. Most of the time will be spent in an open forum discussion centring on questions put to a panel of International Theological Council (ITC) members. We anticipate a lively discussion from the floor, bringing in a wide range of viewpoints and perspectives from around the Army world. Chicago Staff Band and Waverley Timbrels

The USA Central Territory’s Chicago Staff Band meets the premier timbrel brigade from the Australia Southern Territory, the Waverley Timbrels!

Indonesia Bamboo Orchestra, Samulnori Percussion and Zoo Boogie

Faith and Social Justice in the 21st Century

3 July 2015, 1.30pm, Cineworld Sky Superscreen (estimated duration – 1 hour 30 minutes)

Join the General and a panel of global experts to discuss how people of faith can better contribute to the fight for social justice in the 21st century. Panelists will each speak before the floor is opened for a question and answer session to enable dialogue with those present. Space is limited in what promises to be a lively and creative session not to be missed by people committed to changing the world for the Lord.

Mizo Singers

From Mizoram in the India Eastern Territory, the Mizo Singers bring South Asian flavour to Boundless 2015.

World Concert

3 July 2015, 4.00pm, Cineworld Sky Superscreen (estimated duration – 1 hour 30 minutes)

The World Concert – featuring a Haka group from the New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga Territory, the India Central Youth Singers, the Ghana Band & Folk Singers, and the South America East Territorial Band – will be an exciting event, bringing together the four corners of the world.

Ontario Central East Youth Chorus

Youthfulness is reflected in the spirit and music of the Ontario Central East Youth Chorus from the Canada and Bermuda Territory.

World Dance Festival

Featuring the Hawai'i Hula Hālau, Kenyan vocal and dance group, Wateule, dancers from the South America West Territory, and Korean Fan Dancers, the World Dance Festival promises a variety of moving, cultural dance.

India Central Youth Singers

From the India Central Territory, these Youth Singers add to the variety of singing groups featured at Boundless 2015.

One Army

Commissioner Robert Street will present film from One Army, International Headquarters' ‘new, clearest, most concise, internationally unifying, teaching resource ever – for young and old.’ It involves 13 challenging books – each with youth expression and specific cultural input – 13 top quality films (DVDs), a leader’s manual, many translations and an interactive website – with the full teaching presentation. All teaching is centred on Jesus, our relationship with him and what the Army is called to be.

Amsterdam Staff Songsters

From the Netherlands and Czech Republic Territory, the Amsterdam Staff Songsters bring their special flair to Boundless 2015.
